The Medical Informatics Glossary was developed by “Health Informatic Glossary” Work Group. The glossary can be seen at http://www.turkmia.org/sozluk_index.php.

The glossary will be further developed with support from “Turkish Medical Informatics Association” members. Members may suggest new terms and vote for suggested ones. Contribution to the glossary may be in three ways:

• Suggestion of term and Turkish description of it
• One or two paragraph explanation about the term
• Suggestion of abbreviation in Turkish for term
